the past, present and future

* lookin forward to my holiday next week. first time ill be travelling with my sibs overseas. have contacted my friend and her whole family (whom ive met) are so excited for our visit. i look forward to the FOOD, taking photos and just having a great time!

*mum's coming HOME! after 6 months, mum's gonna be home this saturday. i missed her big time and i cant wait to give her a hug! she'll be arriving with my nana and grandpa. cant wait to see them, hear their stories and get their pressies,hehe...

*hmmmm....the merry month of october brought back many good memories, sigh! its been a year and yeah, i cant help but reminisce the good old days...could have been our first year on the 12th.

*had lunch with our "big" boss--our company's president and ceo... his mere presence made me real nervous at the beginning, met up at his office had a bit of business talk with our coo then we headed to italiannis for lunch..this time it was informal.talked, joked and shared stories with them plus 4 of my other colleagues. was a good experience! realised that "he" was a person, too...

*not too happy with my work and the proposed set-up that will be implemented soon...its just sooo frustrating!

*caught up with my friend who works for the gov't after a month or so...mentioned about the country's financial state and how hard the times are now...he told me that next year may be worse...

*havent heard from a friend in a week now... have no clue at all...m worried...

*im HAPPY i got family and friends who care!!!

***************
i have faith that everything will be in its right place in due time.

ek daytrip

finally went to enchanted kingdom after planning the trip with my sibs!

we tried almost all rides including the most horrifying ones. well, i might be exaggerating about the horrifying thing but its been awhile since i stepped on a theme park, so i am proud of my achievements today! i tried the flying fiesta, rio grande rapids for the first time, had a taste of the log jam after vowing not to try it anymore and yes! i survived the space shuttle. i was teary-eyed and big time nervous in the queue and i wanted to give up, but then everyone with me were so keen and encouraged me that the dreaded ride would be alright. after my prayers and a bit of psyching up, i was cool and decided to just close my eyes on the two-minute (?) ride. it was indeed a short ride and it was not too bad after all!!! i wanted to go back though my knees were wobbling and my hands got "paralysed" for a bit. Uhm, not really...

but the whole trip to the park was fun! i look forward to going back... and i wouldn't mind riding them all again!
