carpe diem... not!

i won a 3 day 2 night stay to a posh hotel in Seoul!!! yay! i met one of the hotel executives and told me to notify him before coming so he can arrange complimentary extra nights for me (operative word: complimentary, tee-hee). he even added that some korean soaps were shot at the imperial palace hotel AND that some of the actors (he mentioned the names. the koreanovela fan that i am, i am not familiar with the names except for rain which i hardly recognized because apparently he is also equally popular with his korean[?] name, bi. but that's another story).

i'm supposed to be preparing for the trip and counting the days while crying out "daniel henney, here i come!", BUT.I.AM.NOT.GOING... i know, i shouldn't pass this opportunity since i like kimchi and kimbap and bibimbap and bulgogi, my college friend and daniel henney live there and it's the fun of traveling! to a new country... but sadly, i MIGHT not go... there's no free airfare. no, i am not being stingy here. the ticket is not that dear but i have spent tooo much on traveling in the first quarter of the year (phils, uk & vietnam plus domestic travels) and i still need to get a visa... all the hassles that come with applying for a visa just doesnt appeal much... (i know im just lazy!)

so, yeah...it's not anyeonghaseyo seoul for me this time... sad face :(

oh, i'm giving the free stay vouchers to my sibs and they're interested :) let you know, if i still decide to go...

question: why do filipinos, traveling outside the philippines, talk to their fellow filipinos in english?

my left molar is killing me... argh?!#*?^
what makes it harder is that the dentist can hardly explain stuff to me in English. it's like i'm not really sure if he was sincere when talking to me. i told him i want to save my tooth even if my purse has to bleed (again... too many expenses and another travel coming soon..ugh...). but he wants to extract the poor tooth. i havent made a decision that's why i'm living on pain killers. ooppss..

i should have visited our family dentist when i was home three months ago...

office rant

argh! i just hate my insensitive workmatessss... grrr! it's fr*ak*ng 36 degrees C outside and none has turned the a/c on... cant they hear my loud fanning of any cardboard brochure i can pick up around me? it's just fr*gg*n irritating... i tell them almost everyday to turn it on but do i really have to tell them every single day??? jeez! i'm just sick and tired of them... they're soooo insensitive in all aspects, very unprofessional, too...

i know i shouldnt let them get in my nerves but too much is really too much!!!

what a friday!!! i cant wait for the national anthem to be played on the radio which means that it's time to go home...

yep, im back in the land of smiles... the five-day adventure was a goodie, it was pretty chilly, too...

delayed flight to bangkok

im in dubai right now, waiting for my connecting flight to bangkok...it's the last leg of my flight and it's delayed for two hours...i could have met up with my two friends who are based in dubai and abu dhabi but i really wasnt sure if i can get a transit visa for a few hours to go out of the airport...anyway, thank God for business class lounges.

im still thinking if i will go shopping...i already got heaps of stuff from london including chocolates and my boots are killing me so i may just stay here.

me sleepy...

i'll go back to the couch and have a little nap again...

camera-rant

i know it's friday today, the end of the working week but i'm a little pissed off... i got a compact camera last week but i'm having troubles uploading the photos in my pc...grrr... if only i can exchange it for a better camera, i will...but st*pid thai consumer laws, i cant just do it...another grrr... hmmm...i dont really know what to do... i'll try to review the manual tonight and go back to the store tomorrow to complain...i know it's such a waste of time but i have to try...phew!
